Your speech will be a custom and collaborative set of remarks. I love this process! My goal for every speech is to educate, entertain, and enliven your audience.
Presentation Design
I favor a clean design and smart visuals. If a speech calls for slides, I’ll make sure they belong.
Content Strategy
I’ll work with you to review your target audience and upcoming media opportunities to create a custom content strategy and a lasting narrative.
Ghostwriting + Op-eds
A well-placed and articulated op-ed is a work of art and science. I’ll help develop your message into a compelling argument fit for the local, state or national opinion pages.
Speech Coaching & Team Training
From stage presence to teleprompter training, I’ll make sure you’re prepared and polished. I also offer writing labs to help your team improve their internal and external communications skills. I break down the writing process, teaching them to write clearer, faster and more persuasively.
Editing
Already have some copy to work with but would like another look, help with additional research and organization, or answering the question, “So what?” I’ll help revise or develop, as needed, to get to your best draft.

As a Washington, D.C.-based writer and communications consultant, I’ve written for a U.S. Secretary of State, executives of a Fortune 500 company, the Republican National Convention, U.S. Strategic Command and the State of Alaska, among many others.
I’ve also guest lectured at Georgetown University, and I host a podcast, Geopolitics for Junior, that helps parents and teachers introduce issues in geopolitics to kids in a fun and accessible way.
I believe every speech is grounded in substance, simplicity, style and a story.
I have an M.A. in International Affairs from Tufts University and a B.A. from Hillsdale College.
